Kesshou Sekai
This might be my favourite song in the album.
I arranged it based on how it made me feel when I heard the demo. For some reason, I teared up while playing guitar. It’s unusual to have a song with two hooks, but it’s a wonderful melody nonetheless. This is the true form of the singer-songwriter Saito Soma I know. Emo-ness is Soma-ness. #SS1stAL

Their ideas were fresh, and their voices were lovely during the recording. It was a lot of fun! -P #SS1stAL

Incense. Youmentbay featuring Soma Saito. Their song’s outlook is gentle and chill. I’m glad we got to sing together! Their voices are lovely! And the lyrics are cute! I love them! Especially the downward slope on “shuwatto”~ -S #SS1stAL

Yoake wa Mada
A wonderful song and a model example of pop.
The melody, chord progression, and arrangement are all really cool. Even when Soma-kun’s singing refreshing songs, the emotional (Soma) taste is still there. #SS1stAL

The first time I heard a demo for a song Soma-kun composed was at the MV recording for Yoake wa Mada~ After that, we decided that he’d compose and write lyrics for his 3rd single! He became 😊 though. -P #SS1stAL

Yoake wa Mada. City pop, but with a funky rhythm. Kodama-san’s lyrics are truly wonderful. Disco ball man. A fleeting song feigning an eternal night. The MV is great too, with its precious dancing! *laughs* -S #SS1stAL

The setup outfit for this album was one of the ones I thought up when I heard this song
I like the coordination between the belt, socks, and shoes (self-pride)

Hikari wa Mizu no You. City pop. The track is wonderfully groovy. The title came from a short story of the same name, by a Latin American author named Garcia Marquez. The song makes me think of drowning in a city’s neon lights. The laidback-ness makes singing it feel great! Recording it was fun~! -S #SS1stAL
